It’s Fall Y’all: The 2026 fall season lasts through December 21st, although according to The Old Farmer’s Almanac, peak fall foliage colors will end shortly after the first week of November in the KC area.

Find Your Pumpkin: Our list features 13 of KC’s favorite fall farms within a ~30-minute radius of downtown KCMO. We’ve also included an interactive Google map, so you can find the fall farm closest to you!

Hop On Over: 913 Mercantile officially opened on September 16th at 5330 Martway St., featuring goods from 70+ local small businesses. You can expect home décor, apparel, gifts, artwork, and more.

From the Ashes, We Shop: In an interview with KCTV5, owner Tyler Bonine stated that the idea of opening 913 Mercantile grew out of the abrupt closure of Painted Tree marketplace earlier this spring.

Three Days, Three Vibes: Friday night features the Community Awards, the Rock the Runway fashion show, and Film on the Vine. Saturday is the “Live on the Vine” musical competition, and Sunday is Soulful Sunday with Brush Wars, featuring a food truck showcase and judging, a mystery-bag cooking challenge, a wing-eating contest, and the Food, Fitness & Flow program.

Vibin’ on the Vine: Beyond the scheduled programming, the festival features live music all weekend, artist & maker booths, food trucks, and more. All shows are included with admission, and children 13 and under get in free.

🏀 Hardwood Border Battle: The T-Mobile Center will host the 2026 Border Showdown on December 6th, as the Kansas Jayhawks take on the Missouri Tigers in a neutral-site men’s basketball matchup.

🧠 Brain Freeze: After years of hauling rented machines to parties across KC, James Thomas officially opened The Daiquiri District at 408 E. 31st St. near Martini Corner — 30+ daiquiri flavors, a full bar, TVs, and rooftop access.

🛎️ Dinner Bell: Today is the last day to sign up for Dinner Club in Prairie Village this Thursday at 6:30pm. Take a quick quiz, get matched with new friends at a local restaurant around PV, and then gather with all the other tables at a nearby afterparty!
