đ» Prost!: Kansas City Bier Co. is hosting KC Oktoberfest 2024 at Crown Center. The two-day event is Kansas Cityâs largest traditional Oktoberfest, with over 15,000 merry guests expected.
đ Apple of My Eye: Take the short trip up to Weston, MO for Applefest 2024. Apple Alley, apple food and drink, an apple parade, and plenty more apple-themed fun is planned for Saturday and Sunday!
đź Taco âbout Furniture: Kansas Cityâs furniture destination Nebraska Furniture Mart is hosting Tacotopia, a free onsite taco festival on Saturday from 11-4 pm.
đ Killa Cars: Travis Kelceâs nonprofit organization, Eighty-Seven and Running Foundation, is hosting Kelce Carjam on Saturday from 5-8 pm along Walnut Street in downtown Kansas City.
đŻđ” Eastern Culture: Johnson County Community College is hosting the 26th annual Japan Festival on Saturday. This yearâs theme is YĆkai & Japanese Folklore.
đ€ Roaring Lion: American folk-rock band Judah & the Lion is live in concert at the Uptown Theater on Saturday night at 8 pm.
đ„ Chicks Only: Farfalla Events is hosting the annual Fall Chick Event on Saturday and Sunday at Town Center Plaza in Leawood. The event features a wide variety of local vendors and attractions.
đ Peach Fuzz: American actor and comedian Andrew Santino brings his Freeze Peach Tour to the Midland Theater on Saturday at 7 pm.
âš Luke, I Am Your Zookeeper: The Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium hosts Hoots & Howls - Friends of the Force this Saturday and Sunday from 10-3 with plenty of fun, out-of-this-galaxy activities!

On Wednesday, the NCAA announced the site selections for its 240 championship events through 2028. The Kansas City area was selected as the host for six events. Here they are:

QuikTrip Ranked Among the Best Convenience Stores in the Nation
QuikTrip has built a cult-like following in Kansas City, and the rest of America is catching on. According to a new study by the American Customer Satisfaction Index, QuikTrip ranked as the second-best convenience store in the nation.
Straight Gas: The study polled 5,710 random customers during 2024, with QT earning an ACSI score of 81. The only convenience store that scored higher was Pennsylvaniaâs Wawa (82), with Buc-eeâs (coming soon to KC) coming in third.
Local Ties: Although headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, QT has built a loyal following in Kansas City. The store boasts nearly 100 locations across the metro and is the jersey sponsor of the Kansas City Royals.
