Happy Global Running Day! There’s no better way to celebrate than to join hundreds of new friends on a run through the Country Club Plaza with Kansas Run Club!

  • Runnin’ Wild: If you’ve spent a Wednesday night around the Plaza, you’ve probably seen a massive group of happy people running together. This is the Kansas Run Club! A weekly meet-up of 200+ runners of all levels taking a 3-mile run together.

  • Communities Run Together: KRC is a part of the States Run Club, which was established to cultivate a community of passionate runners. They maintain partnerships between New Balance and Lululemon, which is where the group meets every Wednesday at 6:30 pm to kick off the weekly runs.

It’s Five O’Clock in Kansas City! Alan Jackson to Make a Tour Stop at T-Mobile Center

Country music legend Alan Jackson will make one final stop through Kansas City on Saturday, October 26th.

  • Last Call - The Platinum country artist is saying goodbye with his Last Call: One More for the Road Tour that kicks off in August. Jackson will perform massive hits such as “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” and “Chattahoochee” live in concert for the final time.

  • He’s Back - Jackson is performing while living with CMT, a chronic neuropathy condition that he revealed in 2021. He was scheduled to play in Kansas City in 2022 but had to cancel due to testing positive for COVID-19.

Tickets for the Kansas City show go on sale Friday, June 7th at 10 am on the T-Mobile Center website.

A New Champagne Bar is Coming to Midtown

Feeling Bubbly? Blanc Champagne Bar is coming soon to The Netherland building at 3835 Main St.

  • A Toast!: Owner Jordin Johnson used a trip to Europe in 2022 to refuel her love for wine and inspire her to open Kansas City’s first Champagne-dedicated space. Blanc will offer an extensive list of sparkling wines, Champagne cocktails, flights, and food.

  • Bubbles Up High: Blanc takes over the space in The Netherland that formerly housed Canary and Boho Sway at Canary. There will be a first-floor space will a “fuller” menu as well as an 11th-floor rooftop with a limited menu.

The 2024 Midwest Fest is welcoming gamers, creators, and artists from across the region to Hy-Vee Arena this weekend!

  • Game On: The festival aims to be the ultimate destination for gamers across the Midwest. Gaming professionals, vendors, local artists, board games, and gaming tournaments are all on the schedule for this year’s event.
