KC Craft Ramen Opens Exclusive Collaboration with Famed Japanese Restaurant
Japanese cuisine lovers, this one’s for you. KC Craft Ramen kicks off an exclusive pop-up collaboration with the famed Japanese Restaurant “Menya Shokudo” TODAY!
Across the Globe: For the next five days, Overland Park’s KC Craft Ramen will host Chef Takafumi Mochizuki of Menya Shokudo in Atsugi, Japan. Chef Takafumi and the team will offer the restaurant’s first-ever Shoyu Ramen (seafood & pork broth) and Mazesoba (no soup noodle).
Noodles in Bowl: The ticketed event starts today and goes through Sunday, with sessions starting at noon and going through 9 pm. Tickets include your bowl of ramen, which includes handmade noodles created exclusively for this event.

Brewer’s Wrap House Now Open in Downtown Independence
A new wrap-focused concept called Brewer’s Wrap House is now open in downtown Independence.
Wrap it Up: Brewer’s Wrap House can be found inside of 3 Trails Brewing in the heart of the Independence Square. The family-owned business is a sister concept to Brewer’s Kitchen restaurant and beer hall in midtown Kansas City, MO.
What’s Inside: The shop serves up handcrafted, fresh wraps like the Honey Lo Wrap, which is filled with fried chicken, homemade ranch & honey mustard, lettuce, and tomato. They also serve up unwrapped bites such as Chili Cheese Dawgs and Jalapeño Poppers.
Brewer’s Wrap House (and 3 Trails Brewing) can be found at 111 N Main St. in Independence, MO.

AdventHealth South Overland Park to Host Apple Festival
AdventHealth South Overland Park will host a family-friendly Apple Festival on Sunday, September 22nd.
Fall Kick Off: The event will take place from 2-5 pm outside of the hospital at 7840 W 165th St in Overland Park. There will be fun for the whole family, including music from Mix 93.3, face painting, balloon art, a petting zoo, a bounce house/slide, and more!
Apples to Apples: You can’t have an Apple Fest without, well, apples. There will be donuts and apple cider from Louisburg Cider Mill, apple juice, applesauce pouches, and apple crafts. The Fest will also feature food from KC Whip and Company, Coco Loco Grill, and Mo Pie.

Banksia Bistro is Now Open for Dinner
Banksia Bistro, an Australian-inspired restaurant in downtown KCMO, is now offering dinner.
Dining Downtown: Banksia Bistro is a relatively new addition to the downtown dining scene (1183 Main St.) and is a sister concept to Banskia Café in the South Plaza neighborhood. The Bistro added dinner service in August in addition to breakfast and lunch.
Wild Game: The menu features Australian cuisine served in shareable, small plates. You can find dishes such as Australian King Prawns, Lamb Cutlets Polpette Meat Balls, and Kangaroo Loin.
Banksia Bistro is open Wednesday through Sunday from 3-9 for dinner.
