Michelin-Starred Chef to Open a New Restaurant in Kansas City

Current Landing

Nicholas Stefanelli, a Michelin-starred Chef from Washington DC, will open a new restaurant at the upcoming Current Landing development in Kansas City.

  • DC 👉 KC: Stefanelli will open a “casually chic and warm-hearted” Italian restaurant near the riverfront, the first restaurant announcement in the upcoming entertainment district. Stefanelli operates Masseria in Washington DC, which has been awarded one Michelin Star.

  • Taste of Italy: The restaurant, which is yet to be named, will serve dishes inspired by Southern Italian traditions. Expect hand-rolled pastas, a bone-in veal chop, a KC strip paired with olive-oil-crushed potatoes and salsa verde, and more.

Additional bar and restaurant announcements are expected before Current Landing opens this spring.
