Verdant Opens a Second Location in The Morningside Shops
Local floral shop Verdant is now open in the Morningside Shops in Brookside.
Double Time: The shop celebrated the grand opening of the new space on November 16th. This is the second metro location in addition to the flagship retail location in the Crossroads, and is open every day from 10-7 pm.
Brookside Bouquet: In addition to custom floral bouquets, Verdant offers ceramic wares from Convivial, plant accessories, candles, greeting cards, and other curated gift items. The shop offers daily floral walk-ins and pre-order bouquets available for delivery.
Verdant in Morningside is at 647 E. 59th St., and Verdant in the Crossroads is at 128 W. 18th St.

Jack Stack Products Now Available in Walmart Stores
Local barbecue can now be found on the shelves of the worldâs largest retailer.
Local âQue: Overland Park-based Fiorellaâs Jack Stack Barbecue now has select products on the shelf at over 300 Walmart locations across the Midwest. According to Keaton Dorman, executive VP of retail operations, the expanded partnership will have a huge effect on Jack Stackâs retail operations, boosting production capacity by 10%.
On the Shelf: Although Walmart has carried Jack Stack sauces for over 20 years, the retailer will now carry Jack Stackâs famous hickory pit beans and cheesy corn bake. You can also find Jack Stackâs rubs and seasonings on Walmartâs shelves.

Local Mens Clothier Opens New Showroom in Leawood Today
Local menâs clothier and custom suitmaker Shepherdâs opens its newest showroom today in Leawoodâs Mission Farms.
Man on a Mission: Shepherdâs offers made-to-measure suits, jackets, accessories, and other high-end menswear. The original showroom is found within the Power and Light District in downtown KCMO (appointment only), and the companyâs second showroom opens today (11/19) in Mission Farms.
Dashing Double: Shepherdâs is co-owned by Nathan Price and Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker. Butker is often seen wearing Shepherdâs products on his pregame walks into the stadium, and Price has also worked on custom pieces for actors Dennis Quaid and David Henrie.
Shepherdâs new showroom can be found at 10513 Mission Road.
