It may only be November 5th, but a chunk of Kansas City’s top holiday pop-up bars are already taking reservations. We’ve rounded up 14 of Kansas City’s best holiday pop-ups in this year’s guide, which features dates, reservation links, and an interactive map to help you find the pop-up nearest you. As more pop-ups are announced for the 2026 season, we may be adding to this guide, so stay tuned.

KC Current to Host Angel City in the NWSL Quarterfinals on Saturday

The KC Current locked up a home playoff match with Sunday’s 2-0 win over Racing Louisville and will host Angel City FC at CPKC Stadium this Saturday, November 7th, at 11am.
Teal Time: The No. 4 seed Current ended the regular season on a five-match winning streak. They led the league with 54 goals and went unbeaten at home (11-0-4), stretching the home unbeaten streak to 32 matches. Croix Bethune set NWSL single-season records for assists and game-winning assists, and Debinha became the league’s all-time leading scorer.
Now Playing: The club’s movie-themed playoff campaign hands every fan Teal Time 3D glasses at Saturday’s match, with 3D moments on the videoboard. Can’t make it? The match airs nationally on CBS. Look for Teal Time clapper boards at Current Landing, City Market, and the Riverfront streetcar stop.

Liberty’s Beacon Adds Dates and Extends Hours for Its Final Week

Liberty’s Beacon, the light show projected onto the Liberty Memorial, has added a date and extended its hours for its final run through Veterans Day.
Extra Credits: The show adds a bonus night TONIGHT, from 7:30-10:30pm. From Friday, November 6th, through Wednesday, November 11th, it starts earlier at 6pm, with the final show at 10:30pm. For the first time, all three artists’ installations will play every evening in rotation, with a new show starting every 15 minutes.
Light It Up: Liberty’s Beacon celebrates the Memorial’s 100th anniversary and the nation’s 250th with three 8-10 minute shows. Each comes from a different light artist and has a custom score. Bring a blanket to the North Lawn. On select nights, you can grab refreshments from PH Coffee and Jack’s Kettle Corn.
