Smalls Sliders to Open First Metro Location this Saturday
A Drew Brees-backed restaurant chain focused on cheeseburger sliders is set to open this Saturday in Blue Springs.
Slide Through: Smalls Sliders will open at 10am this Saturday (4/26) at 704 NW Mock Ave. The restaurants offer drive-thru and walk-up dining options, and are made from orange and black shipping containers. This is the first KC metro location, and just the second in the state of Missouri.
Small(s) Burgers: The menu at Smalls is about as simple as it gets: cheeseburger sliders, fries, and milkshakes. They do offer combos, burger variations, and party packs; but they are sticking to their namesake of offering great Small(s) burgers!
Follow along with Smalls Sliders as they prepare to open in Blue Springs HERE.

KC Oktoberfest Returns to Crown Center This Fall
Bottoms up! KC Oktoberfest 2025 hosted by KC Bier Co. returns to Crown Center October 3-4.
Cheers to Bier: The event is Kansas City’s largest Oktoberfest, featuring Bavarian-style bier, food, and live music. Last year’s party drew over 16,000 guests to Crown Center, and you can check out last year’s highlights in this video.
Prost!: It wouldn’t be a proper Oktoberfest without fresh, German-style bier! All biers are brewed by Kansas City Bier Company, including an official festival bier called Festbier. The event is modeled after the traditional Oktoberfest held in Munich Germany.
Tickets go on sale July 1st. More information can be found HERE.
