Rainbow Slime Co. Opens Inside Union Station
A new hands-on experience called Rainbow Slime Co. recently opened at Union Station, and it’s exactly what it sounds like.
Slime Time: The family-friendly attraction designed to spark creativity through slime. Located on the lower level of Union Station, the experience features a flowing slime river, a DIY slime bar where kids can build custom creations, goo basketball hoops, sensory stations, and a selfie room.
Celebrating Slime: Rainbow Slime Co. is now open Tuesday through Sunday, with a grand opening celebration planned for Saturday, January 3rd, from 10-5, and then an adults-only party from 5-7pm. With winter weather on the horizon, this indoor attraction is perfect for helping kids burn off some colorful energy!

The NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship Tips Off Today
Bump. Set. Spike! The 2025 D1 Women’s Volleyball Championship tips off today at the T-Mobile Center. This is the third time Kansas City has hosted the championships, and the first since 2017, when it welcomed a record-breaking 18,000 fans. Tonight’s semifinals feature:
The national championship match will take place at 2:30pm on Sunday (12/21). That game will be broadcast nationally on ABC.

🌮 Tacos, Everywhere: According to Kansas City food reporter Joyce Smith, Tiki Taco will open multiple new metro locations. Locations in Liberty and Metro North Crossing are coming soon, and locations in the Crossroads and Lee’s Summit are in the works.
🚧 Road Closed: The northbound lanes of Highway 169 near the Kansas City Downtown Airport will be closed until further notice due to “major structural issues”.
