Support the Ronald McDonald House Charities Kansas City for Giving Tuesday
Today is Giving Tuesday! If you’re looking to support a local organization that is making a difference in the lives of local children and families, look no further than the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City.
For the Kids: Every day, children in Kansas City experience diagnoses that change the course of their lives. On that journey, what they need most is to have their family right by their side. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City gives families that comfort of home while during treatment at Kansas City-area hospitals.
Home Away From Home: In their 4 Houses on Hospital Hill and 1 Family Room, RMHC-KC serves 94 families every. single. night. That adds up to over 5,000 families last year - and these aren't families with slightly ill children. These are kids doing chemotherapy, waiting on an organ transplant, babies born extremely early - in short, kids that are fighting for their lives.
Every donation given to Ronald McDonald House today, Giving Tuesday, will be matched thanks to National Beef. Help give the gift of family this holiday season by donating HERE.

Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story Debuts on Hallmark Channel
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard the local hype around Hallmark Channel’s Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.
Local Love: The film premiered on Saturday night and tells the story of a die-hard Chiefs fan and her family competing for the Fan of the Year award. Stop me if you've heard this before, but the main character and the Chiefs’ director of fan engagement fall in love.
I Can See My House From Here!: The movie was filmed throughout the Kansas City metro, including GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium and local businesses on Independence Square. The film included cameos from current and former Chiefs players, Donna Kelce, and KCMO mayor Quinton Lucas.
This isn’t the first time a holiday love story has been filmed in Kansas City. My Sweet Holiday, released in 2020, included filming at Annedore’s Fine Chocolates in Westwood Hills.
