A New Bistro + Bottle Shop is Now Open in Brookside
Cru, a neighborhood bistro + bottle shop, is now open in the heart of Brookside!
Tell Your Cru: Cru officially opened its doors this weekend at 128 W. 63rd St., replacing Michael Forbes Grill, which closed in June. Owners Hannah Koenig and Avery Bailey designed Cru to serve simple but elegant bistro-style cuisine in one of KCMO’s most cherished neighborhoods.
Neighborhood Fare: The menu at Cru will rotate seasonally, but expect dishes such as Pork Schnitzel, Steak Frites, Risotto, Mushroom Croquettes, and more. It will also offer an extensive wine list, including half-price bottles all day on Sundays.
