Check Out the Music Video for New KC Streetcar ‘Anthem’
Local musician Kemet Coleman has created a new song in partnership with the Kansas City Streetcar Authority as the official anthem for the new Main Street Extension.
Sound of the Streetcar: Coleman performed “Stay in Your Lane” at the grand opening celebration on October 24th, and has now released the official music video featuring fellow Kansas City musicians Brass & Boujee, Kadesh Flow, and Kimology. The music video was produced by Sensei Brands, and highlights Kansas City’s culture and the people.
Run it Back: The high-energy dance track fuses hip-hop, brass, and soul. The song continues a story that began nearly a decade ago with Coleman's “Get Out (The KC Streetcar Song)”, which helped usher in over 1 million riders in the streetcar's first year and has earned nearly 230,000 YouTube views.
