Andretti Indoor Karting & Games

The highly anticipated opening of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is here! The entertainment destination in Overland Park opens today at 4pm.

  • Start Your Karts: Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is located at 11610 Nall Ave, and features high-speed electric Superkarts reaching 35mph on a multi-level track, VR experiences, racing simulators, a two-story laser tag arena, Duckpin bowling, and a 7D Xperience Motion theater. And yes, we know you’re curious about pricing.

  • Eat & Play: With all that fun to be had, you’re going to get hungry. Andretti also offers a full-service restaurant (see the menu) as well as in-house catering for groups/events. Important note: they do not have a reservation system in place, and all entertainment is on a first-come, first-served basis for walk-in guests.

Can’t make opening day today? The opening week schedule includes Community Day this Thursday and a First 100 event on Saturday.

Twinkle Transforms Five Local Restaurants into Holiday Wonderlands

The Christmas pop-up experience Twinkle is transforming five local restaurants into over-the-top holiday wonderlands through early January.

  • Deck the Halls: Twinkle is open now at Blue Moose (Lenexa), Barley's Kitchen + Tap (Overland Park and Shawnee), and Stroud's (Overland Park), with Tanner’s (Red Bridge) opening on November 27th. Each location features festive lighting, unique props, holiday-themed food and cocktail menus, Christmas toys for kids, festive mocktails, and decorated desserts.

  • Santa’s Schedule: All five locations will host two weekend Santa visits throughout the season. Reservations are encouraged, but there is no entrance fee to attend a Twinkle location.

Local Breweries Honored at Inaugural Missouri Beer Cup

BKS Artisan Ales

Multiple Kansas City-area breweries and beers were honored at the 2025 Inaugural Missouri Beer Cup on November 10th.

  • Clean Sweep: BKS Artisan Ales was named the Brewery of the Year for breweries producing under 1,000 barrels, and Boulevard Brewing Co. was named Brewery of the Year for breweries producing over 1,000 barrels. Nearly 50 local beers were awarded medals across 30 categories.

  • Show-Me the Beers: The awards were presented at the Missouri Craft Brewers Guild’s Annual Conference, which is the only professional beer competition run by the statewide nonprofit. The guild exists to protect and promote craft beer and breweries in the Show-Me State.
