The Fold Opens in the Crossroads
The Fold, a new American dining concept focused on seasonal ingredients and thoughtful hospitality, is now open in the Crossroads.
Deep Roots: The Fold opened at 1830 Walnut St. inside Corrigan Station, the former home of Corvino Supper Club. The Fold was opened by restaurant veteran Todd Richards, and partners Amanda Accurso and Brandon Sharp of Roots Seasonal Cuisine in Lee’s Summit.
The Fold is open 3-10 pm, Tuesday through Sunday. Get your reservations HERE.

Summer Concerts on the Lawn Continue in July and August
Grab a blanket and head to The Museum of Kansas City! Two more Summer Concerts on the Lawn are happening on July 10th and August 14th.
Local History, Local Music: July 10th’s concert features Legerdemain Band, a steel pan-led, genre-bending fusion group based out of Kansas City. The concert is in partnership with Creative City KC and Kansas City’s UNESCO City of Music. August 14th’s concert features Brass Rewind, the region’s premier Rock and R&B horn band.
Party on the Lawn: Each night, the PH Coffee trailer will be parked on the lawn, selling hot dogs, popcorn, and snow cones. Beer, wine, and specialty cocktails available for purchase at Elixir on the Lawn. (No outside alcohol) Picnics, blankets, lawn chairs, and leashed dogs are welcome!
Gates open at 6:30pm, with concerts starting at 7pm. Tickets are $7 in advance, $10 at the door.

Three New Retailers Coming Soon to the Plaza
Good news if you’re in need of a little retail therapy. The Country Club Plaza will soon welcome three new retail tenants:
Reformation: Sustainable women’s clothing and accessories.
415 Nichols Road
Evereve: Women’s clothing and fashion
445 Nichols Road
Jaxen Grey: Contemporary men’s clothing
437 Nichols Road.
An exact opening date for Reformation is TBD, but expected soon. Evereve and Jaxen Grey will open in early 2027.
