A Vegas-style ‘Dayclub’ Could be Coming to Westport
Kansas City’s first “vibrant poolside dayclub” could be coming soon to Westport.
Take a Dip: Revive Dayclub would feature an 8,600-square-foot pool patio, outdoor dining area, indoor club, and a commercial kitchen. Pending city approval, Revive Dayclub would be built at the southeast corner of 39th St. and Broadway Boulevard.
Swimming Hole: According to an investor summary sheet, Revive Dayclub found that 81% of young adults in Kansas City are interested in attending a pool party and willing to pay a premium cover charge. This concept would be a first in the KC area, bringing a Vegas-like club with a modern, funky twist.
Officials hope to break ground this summer and be open by April 2026. Read more about Revive Dayclub from the KCBJ HERE.

Murmuration Eatery & Cocktail Bar is Now Open in the River Market
Murmuration Eatery & Cocktail Bar officially opened its doors this week in the River Market.
Birds of a Feather: Murmuration shares a space with its sister company, City Market Coffee Roasters, at 307 Main St. in KCMO. It will offer breakfast, brunch, lunch, a cocktail menu, and (of course) coffee from City Market Coffee Roasters.
What’s in a Name?: The word murmuration means “ a large group of birds that fly together or the act of birds flying together.” The mural on the wall features native Missouri birds, with the intent of showing that Murmuration is a place for many types of people to come together to create community.
Murmuration Eatery & Cocktail Bar is open seven days a week at 6:30 am.

A Soccer Tennis Tournament is Coming to the Streets of Kansas City
The first-ever soccer tennis tournament is coming to the streets of Kansas City with Copa de Calle.
Pick a Sport: The tournament will take place March 29-30 in the streets of the River Market and Crossroads Arts District. For those that aren’t familiar with soccer tennis, it’s essentially tennis played with a soccer ball with a much smaller net. Still curious? Mark your calendars and come to Copa de Calle!
Global Game: The tournament is put on by Ryogoku Soccer Academy in Northeast Kansas City. Beyond the soccer tennis action, Cope de Calle will feature DJs, food and drink, vendors, and other lively events. The courts in the River Market will be Vietnamese-themed, and the courts outside Made Mobb in the Crossroads will be Mexican-themed.
