Royals Reveal Three New Menu Items at Kauffman Stadium in 2025

Grab your baseball glove and a fork, we’re headed to the K! The Royals announced three new menu items at Kauffman Stadium for the 2025 season.

• Z-Man Sandwich: The KC collaboration we never knew we needed until now! Kansas City’s most famous sandwich from Joe’s Kansas City will be served in section 251.

• Sluggerrr Dog: Named after the Royals’ mascot, the Sluggerr Dog is chorizo topped with Manchego, tempura batter, Doritos Cool Ranch crust, and avocado aioli. It can be found at Craft and Draft down the left field line.

• Blue Velvet Whoopie Pies: A sweet treat for the bottom of the ninth: vanilla fluffed sandwiched between two blue velvet cakes. It can be found at Rivals Sports Bar in the right-field outfield.

Planet Comicon Returns to Downtown Kansas City This Weekend

Planet Comicon returns to the Kansas City Convention Center this weekend, March 21-23.

• Nerds, UNITE: The three-day event features an endless amount of exhibits, vendors, panels, and other interactive experiences. Flex your fantasy muscles in the 2025 Cosplay Contest, the PEZ Maker Space, Pokémon Gym Battle, Planet Esports, and so much more!

• Welcome to the Stage: This year’s celebrity guest list is packed with familiar names: Helen Hunt (Twister), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings Trilogy), David Tennant (Doctor Who), Ann-Margret (Bye Bye Birdie), and many more.

A New Addition Coming to Restaurant Hotspot in KCK

A local dining hotspot will soon get a new addition: Sannin will open at 2820 W. 47th St. in KCK.

• Welcome In: Sannin will replace Kind Food in the Northwood Shopping Center, which is found on the north side of 47th St. which splits Westwood and KCK. The Asian fusion restaurant will serve poke, sushi, build-your-own bowls, and ramen.

• Restaurant Row: Although not officially dubbed a “restaurant row”, the Northwood Shopping Center boasts a healthy selection of great eats: 1889 Pizza Napoletana, Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken, and Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que. Lulu’s Thai Noodle Shop is just a few steps down 47th St. as well.

Sannin is expected to be open in early May.
