Go North, Coffee Lovers: Provis’ new home will be located at 2914 Buchanan St., just a few minutes north of the river and downtown KCMO. The shop will serve as a full-service café, offering its lineup of specialty-roasted coffees (also available for subscription) and merch.

This Close to Coffee: Can’t wait for this Saturday? Provis is hosting two public soft openings this week: Wednesday (9/23) and Friday (9/25). Both are happening from 7am-2pm, and will feature the full menu.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road: This production features eight dancers taking flight, the most of any KC Ballet production, alongside 220 hand-painted pointe shoes in 23 colors and ruby slippers adorned with 288 hand-placed jewels. New LED stage technology adds even more magic this year. The original score by Matthew Pierce is performed live by the Kansas City Symphony under conductor Ramona Pansegrau.

Dance Season: There will be eight performances of The Wizard of Oz between October 16 and 25, with single tickets starting at $39 plus fees. The 2026-2027 season will also feature performances of The Nutcracker, New Moves, Pinocchio, Romeo & Juliet, and Pulse.
