Rooftop Cinema Club Crossroads Opens TOMORROW!

Rooftop Cinema Club

Get your popcorn ready! The highly-anticipated Rooftop Cinema Club in the Crossroads opens tomorrow.

  • It’s Showtime!: Rooftop Cinema Club offers open-air theater experiences four stories high with sweeping views of the Kansas City skyline. It offers multiple seating types, a bar & lounge area, themed events throughout the year, and private screenings.

  • Rooftop Classics: The inaugural showing at the Rooftop Cinema Club is of La La Land at 9:10pm tomorrow (7/23). Thursday-Saturday will offer double features, with classics like Dirty Dancing, 50 First Dates, The Sandlot, and more on screen. Tickets range from $20-$30 with student and military discounts available.

Power & Light District

We’re in the dog days of summer, but things are just heating up at the Power & Light District in downtown Kansas City. Here are some upcoming events to add to your calendar:

  • Miller Light Hot Country Nights: The next five Thursday nights (July 24-Aug 21) feature signature shows from top country artists presented by Midwest Ford Dealers. Next up: Lee Brice this Thursday (7/24) at 7pm.

  • Summer of Live Local Music: Free live music from local artists on the KC Live! stage every Friday and Saturday night, presented by Tom’s Town Distilling Co. Next up: Phil Vandel this Friday (7/25).

  • Summer Socials at PNC Plaza: Free Friday night events featuring weekly live music, outdoor patio games and handcrafted drinks. Next up: Katie May this Friday (7/25) at 4pm.

  • The Midland Theatre Summer Lineup: Cross Main St. and catch a show at this Kansas City landmark since 1927. Next up: Sam Barber this Thursday (7/24) at 8pm.
