The Rabbit hOle Introduces Immersive, Cover-to-Cover Exhibit
The Rabbit hOle in North Kansas City is launching its largest exhibit yet, a fully immersive adaptation of Tomi Ungerer’s classic picture book The Three Robbers.
Book to Life: Spanning 2,500 square feet, the experience guides visitors through the full story, featuring detailed sculptural environments, stop-motion stations, and an original score. Designed by The Rabbit hOle’s in-house team, it brings Ungerer’s world to life in collaboration with his daughter and publisher.
Journey Together: The exhibit runs through December 31st, 2025, and includes special programming and a global symposium in September. Guests must be 5 years or older, and a separate ticket is required for $10 in addition to museum admission. The exhibition is led by a Rabbit hOle guide, and will take 30-40 minutes.
The Three Robbers exhibit opens on July 5th. Get your tickets HERE.
