Piles of Tiles: The Bam Bam Room is a project from longtime friends Kristi Powell and Stephanie Beshoner, who were inspired to create a space where friends and neighbors could gather around the game of Mahjong. The space offers a place to play, learn the game with classes, and a boutique filled with unique gifts.

Crak House: A grand opening celebration is planned today from 12-8pm, and you can sign up for free open play throughout the weekend! Whether you’re brand new to the game (like us) or a seasoned veteran looking for Mahjong-themed candles, The Bam Bam Room is a must-stop.

One Night Only: Join us on Tuesday, September 30th at 7PM for a meticulously curated, five-course menu crafted by acclaimed Chef Trevor Schwendiman, renowned for his innovative approach to fine dining. Each dish is designed to surprise, delight, and inspire—offering a journey through bold flavors and refined techniques you won’t find anywhere else.

Culinary Adventure: This intimate setting is the perfect opportunity to savor extraordinary cuisine, connect over memorable dishes, and enjoy a night unlike any other. Whether you’re a devoted food enthusiast or seeking a unique date night, this series offers indulgence for the senses and a celebration of culinary artistry. Seats are limited, ensuring an exclusive experience for the most discerning palates.

Across the Globe: From 5-7pm, visitors can enjoy information booths, cultural activities, and an international buffet ($18 public, free for Park students/employees with meal plan) featuring cuisine from every continent, with Park's 500 international students from 66 countries representing their homelands.

Cultural Celebration: Cultural performances and fashion shows begin at 7pm in the Chapel, featuring students from at least 15 countries plus Grupo Folklorico Alma Tapatia, a Kansas City-based Mexican dance group. This year’s event has been moved from its traditional November indoor setting to take advantage of fall weather.
