The Bam Bam Room, Kansas City’s first Mahjong parlor and boutique, officially opens today!
Piles of Tiles: The Bam Bam Room is a project from longtime friends Kristi Powell and Stephanie Beshoner, who were inspired to create a space where friends and neighbors could gather around the game of Mahjong. The space offers a place to play, learn the game with classes, and a boutique filled with unique gifts.
Crak House: A grand opening celebration is planned today from 12-8pm, and you can sign up for free open play throughout the weekend! Whether you’re brand new to the game (like us) or a seasoned veteran looking for Mahjong-themed candles, The Bam Bam Room is a must-stop.
The Bam Bam Room is located at 12910 State Line Rd in Leawood, KS.
