The Giving Machines Return to Union Station
This weekend, the Light the World Giving Machines returned to Union Station for their 5th anniversary year, transforming charitable giving into a vending machine experience.
‘Tis Better to Give: The Giving Machines are located in Union Station’s Grand Hall next to the post office. Instead of buying snacks, visitors can swipe their credit cards to purchase various gifts for those in need, with donations benefitting nine local and global charities.
Local Love: The Giving Machines have become a community-focused holiday tradition in Kansas City, and have been praised by some of Kansas City’s biggest names. Various musical acts will also be performed at the Giving Machines throughout the holiday season.
The Giving Machines will be available in Union Station through January 1st.
