Tickets On Sale Today for Kansas City’s Largest Tulip Festival
The Fun Farm’s Tulip Festival is scheduled to open on April 4th, but discounted tickets go on sale TODAY at 8 am!
Tulip Time: The Fun Farm in Kearney, MO (650 N. Jefferson St.) is the Kansas City area’s largest annual tulip festival, boasting over 1.5 million bulbs, 12 acres of tulips, and over 40 varieties. The festival is open Fri-Sun from 9 am - 7 pm, and the season goes through April 27th.

Arthur Bryant’s Named Among South’s Best by Southern Living
Earlier this week, Arthur Bryant’s Barbeque was recognized in The South’s Best by Southern Living magazine.
MO’s Best: The list named The South's Best Barbecue Joint In Every State, and Arthur Bryant’s was named the best in Missouri. In a city rich in BBQ history as well as welcoming new innovators, Arthur Bryant’s has stood the test of time with its sliced meats and hand-cut fries.
Nothing New: The recognition is nothing new to Arthur Bryant’s, with the legendary joint being named to countless “best of” lists since its early days in the 1940s. In 2017, it was named the most famous restaurant in Missouri by online food & travel publication Thrillist.

Celebrate World Down Syndrome Day (3/21) with Max Mix & Hy-Vee
Local gourmet spice blend company Max Mix has partnered with Hy-Vee to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st.
3/21: World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated every year on 3/21 to represent the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome that causes Down syndrome. Hy-Vee has partnered with Max Mix to donate $1 from every bottle sold to Down Syndrome Innovations from March 21-23 at six metro locations.
Confidence in the Kitchen: Max Mix was launched in the Fall of 2023 by Max Crawford, who was born with Down syndrome. Max Mix offers Max the opportunity to work independently and hopes to offer employment and job training to other young adults with special abilities in the future. Max Mix offers three flavors of spice mix: Chicken & Fish, Steak, and Pork.
