New Dinner Plans: Urban is Now Open!

Urban

After closing Urban Cafe last year, Justin Clark has renamed and reopened as Urban, just twenty blocks north of the original location on Troost Ave.

  • Urban Development: Clark moved Urban Cafe from 5500 Troost to the new terminal at the Kansas City International Airport last year, but he’s now making a return to Troost. His new concept Urban is located at the corner of Armour Boulevard and Troost, on the ground floor of The Roxford.

  • Urban Expansion: Urban will be open for breakfast and lunch, but unlike Urban Cafe, it will also serve dinner and have a full bar. The dinner menu will be served after 3 pm and contain dishes like the Urban Cheddar Burger, Fried Duck Confit, Fish & Grits, and more.

Urban Cafe remains open at KCI and also has a food truck that can be rented for events or found around town.
