All Weekend Long

🤠 Country Stampede parties all weekend long at Azura Amphitheater, with headliners including Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Cole Swindell, and more.

🍖 Hundreds of pitmasters will gather for the Great Lenexa BBQ Battle, with a party and night of public fun on Friday, and the competition on Saturday.

🎪 The Garden Bros Nuclear Circus will dazzle with live circus performances, giant inflatables, and other family-friendly fun at Independence Center.

🐒 The Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium is partnering with Nickelodeon and Paramount+ to feature activities inspired by the live-action movie Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado.

⚾️ The Royals host the Los Angeles Dodgers at the K for a three-game series with themed giveaways planned for each game.

🎤 Head to Zona Rosa every Friday for a Summer Concert in the Park. 6:30pm - 8:30pm in Central Park. Tonight will feature The Zeros!*

🏃 The Farmer’s House is hosting its annual Brew-Ability 0.008K Run from 10:30-12:30 at the Brooksider Sportsbar and Grill. Join them for the shortest run for the best non-profit!*

🍷 Shamrock Hills Vineyard & Winery is hosting Winery After Hours from 7-10pm, a night of live music, great drinks, and a spectacular fireworks display!*

🍺 Strang Hall is hosting its 5th Annual Beer Fest from 3-6pm, with samples from 20+ breweries and great food from local chefs.

🎺 The 2nd Annual Lee’s Summit Jazz Festival is happening at the Bridge Event Space in downtown Lee’s Summit from 12-8pm.

🧚 The Museum of Kansas City is hosting a Magical Garden Party wit StoneLion Puppet Theater from 1-4pm on the East Lawn.

🚴 The Tour de Bier takes off from Liberty Memorial at 8am, a bike ride + after party raising funds for Solace House and Brains for the Cure.

A First-Of-Its-Kind Urban Oasis Opens Soon in the West Bottoms

A new urban oasis called Klā Sanctuary is coming soon to the West Bottoms, and will offer a first-of-its-kind experience in Kansas City.

• Thermal Experience: Klā Sanctuary will open at 1400 W. 13th St. and will feature a Spa Sanctuary that offers saltwater baths of various temperatures, an herbal steam room, infrared sauna, and a salt altar. It will also offer a full menu of individual and couples treatments, including massage, body wraps, and more.

• Sit & Sip: Conversion of the historic building is nearly complete, and the space will also feature Selah Lounge offering teas, specialty drinks, light bites, and more made with organic and regenerative practices. Selah will be open to the public, so entrance into the spa is not required.

An exact opening date is pending, but the team hopes to be booking for early July. Follow along for updates HERE.
