Kenny Chesney is bringing his Original Vibe Room Tour 2027 to Arrowhead Stadium on Friday, July 24th, 2027 — his ninth stadium show in Kansas City.

Vibe With Me: After two years at Sphere Las Vegas, Chesney is back in stadiums for a 19-city all-stadium tour. Chesney is joined by Eric Church and Missouri-native Sheryl Crow for the full run. East Tennessee singer-songwriter Greylan James opens the show.
Get In Line: Tickets go on sale Friday, September 25th, but you can register now for early access to receive a code for the Vibe Room Presale this Thursday, September 18th at 10am.

City of Overland Park

Fall into fun at the Overland Park Fall Festival this September. Head to Downtown Overland Park for a two-day festival packed with arts, entertainment, and good eats.

Fall Festivities: Enjoy live performances for all ages — from bands to children’s entertainers. Browse booths filled with specialty items from more than 75 local and regional artisans, artists, makers, and creators.
Fall Flavors: While you’re shopping, treat yourself to something delicious from one of Downtown Overland Park’s local restaurants or choose from more than a dozen food trucks. Plus, stop by the newly renovated Clock Tower Landing to shop fresh produce, local foods and unique items at the Overland Park Farmers Market.

The festival will run from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25 and from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26. Mark your calendars!

Hekaya

Hekaya, a new Mediterranean restaurant and international café, will bring authentic flavors and a warm ambiance to south Johnson County.

Hey, Hekaya: Hekaya will open at 7200 W. 121st St. in Overland Park, taking over the former Bravos Mexican Grill space. In addition to the café, it will also offer catering services.
Authentic Tastes: Details are sparse, but the team will be hiring soon with an anticipated opening of “late fall”. Renderings of the interior (seen above) show an updated interior, warm wood decór, and a wood-fired oven.

Mill Creek Dental

In honor of Veterans Day coming up, Mill Creek Dental and Dr. Mike Dostal will donate a full-arch restoration to a local veteran.

New Smile: The Free Smile Giveaway will provide one full arch of implant-supported dentures (valued at $25,000) to one local veteran. Many veterans who return home face challenges accessing comprehensive dental care, so Mill Creek is partnering with Veterans Community Project to reach more veterans.
How to Enter: To enter, veterans must submit a 2-minute or less video sharing their story, be a U.S. military veteran, be 18+, and live within a reasonable distance of one of Mill Creek Dental’s locations. (Shawnee, Lee’s Summit, or Leawood)

The winner will be announced on Veterans Day, November 11th.

🍺 Brew-Hoo: Brew at the Zoo returns to the KC Zoo on October 10th — a 21+ evening of unlimited samples from 30+ local breweries and wineries, live music, and food trucks. This year, tickets include access to GloWild: Hidden Treasure!*
🏐 Olympians on the Sand: The 2nd Annual George Brett 4v4 Showdown is October 3rd at Shawnee Mission Beach Volleyball! 11 Olympians, two local qualifier teams, a live DJ, and a beer garden. GA Tickets are $30.*
🤝 New Owners: Florida-based CTO Realty Growth purchased Zona Rosa for $63.3 million and is eyeing a long-term overhaul of the Northland shopping center. Zona Rosa is currently 67% leased.
🐾 A Bite on Bar K: KC-based NorthPoint Development acquired the former Bar K site in the Berkley Riverfront, next to its CORE apartment complex. The beloved dog bar closed in 2025, and a replacement dog park or bar is unlikely to return.
