🎸 Lynyrd Skynyrd x Foreigner - Two of classic rock's biggest names co-headline at Morton Amphitheater in Riverside starting at 6:30pm.

🏈 Chiefs vs. Rams - Football is back at Arrowhead! The Chiefs host the LA Rams for preseason game #1. Kickoff is at 3pm with the game being broadcast on KSHB 41 & NFL Network.
🎵 Jumpen Carps at Rock Island Bridge - A brass band arrives by riverboat from below, playing jazz and big horns up to the Rock Island Bridge from the water. Music starts at 7pm.
🐶 Dog Days of Brookside - Brookside rolls out the red carpet for KC's four-legged neighbors with dog-friendly patios, exclusive pup promotions at 20+ shops and restaurants, $2.99 hot dogs at Charlie Hooper's, free Pup Cups at Foo's, and more.
🤘 Stratgazer’s Summer Jam - Grinders’ outdoor stage hosts live music from 1:30-11pm, with KCeMO's Linkin Park Experience headlining alongside Atypical, Spaceborne Killers, My Walking Dream, and more.
🍉 Melon Summer Smash at the KC Zoo - Watch animals chomp and smash their way through watermelons, cantaloupes, and everything in between — a full animal enrichment schedule across the Zoo grounds.
🐾 Dog Days of Summer - Bring your leashed pup to Shawnee Town 1929 for splash pools, dog-friendly vendors, KC Disc Dogs demonstrations, food trucks, music, and dog contests. 10am–1pm.
🕯️ Candlelight: Tribute to Fleetwood Mac - The Fountain City String Quartet performs hits from Fleetwood Mac under hundreds of candles inside the stunning stained glass sanctuary of Unity Temple on the Plaza.

⛲️ 816 Day at Power & Light - Kansas City's biggest annual celebration of itself returns to the Power & Light District with live music, vendor market, food trucks, $8.16 specials, kid activities, a mayor's toast at 8:16pm.
🎉 Zona Rosa 816 Block Party - The Northland's celebration of the 816 in Central Park features live music, glitter tattoos, sports mascots, snack vendors, and $8.16 deals across the property from 11am–1pm.
🎤 Art in the Loop 816 Day Performances - KC Streetcar and Art in the Loop close out 816 Day at City Market with live performances from The Royal Chief, The DynamitExperience, BodaciousThang, and FK MENACE from 6-8pm.
😂 John Mulaney - The Emmy-winning comedian brings his Mister Whatever tour to Starlight at 7:30pm, with Mike Birbiglia and a very special guest opening.
