All Weekend Long

🎡 Don’t miss the last few days of the Johnson County Fair in Gardner through Saturday, with livestock shows, live music, a carnival, Barnyard Olympics, and more still on the schedule.

🍷 Mineral Lounge is celebrating its first birthday beginning Friday at 4pm by debuting a new menu of small plates and Mediterranean Spritz cocktails all weekend long.

🌮 The Kansas City Taco Festival takes over KC Live! Saturday and Sunday with a huge variety of tacos, margaritas, games, live music, and taco-themed fun.

⚾️ The Kansas City Monarchs welcome the Sioux Falls Canaries to Legends field for a three-game series with the following themes: K-State College Night on Friday, Disney Night & Girl Scout Night on Saturday, and Free Tee Day on Sunday.

🍿 WeekEnder at Crown Center concludes tonight with live music from The Accidental Moguls at 6pm followed by a free outdoor movie showing of Captain America: Brave New World!*

🚦 It’s August 1st, that means it’s First Friday in the Crossroads! Go check out local galleries, live music, food trucks, and local vendors lining the streets of the Crossroads Arts District.

🪄 Disney Descendents & Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour takes the stage at the T-Mobile Center at 7pm, celebrating the hits from the four Descendents and four Zombies films.

Saturday

⚡️ The Truman in downtown KCMO hosts Electric Avenue: The 80s MTV Experience at 8pm. Doors open at 7pm and the show is all ages.

🎨 The Nelson-Atkins Museum hosts Free Weekend Fun: Time for Art from 1-4pm, where you can create your own time telling tool in the lobby of the Bloch Building.
