🏓 PickleCon - The nation's largest pickleball festival takes over Bartle Hall at the KC Convention Center with tournament play, open courts, a massive Vendor Village, clinics, celebrity exhibitions, glow pickleball nights, and a KCFD vs. KCPD exhibition on Sunday.
🎢 Worlds of Fun — Celebrate Americana 250 - It’s the final weekend for Worlds of Fun's summer-long America 250 celebration. Live music, the Firecracker Food Festival, and Star-Spangled Night fireworks on Saturday.
🥎 KC Diamonds vs. Atlanta Smoke - The Diamonds welcome the Smoke to Legends Field for the historic final homestand, with the PSL (Professional Softball League) championship on the line. Games Fri/Sat/Sun.
🎶 Summerfest KC - Kansas City's beloved chamber music festival presents Darius Milhaud's “Creation of the World” alongside other America-inspired works, performed by KC Symphony musicians and UMKC faculty. Shows on Saturday and Sunday.

🐛 Dragonfly Days - Learn to catch and identify Missouri's 65 dragonfly species at George Owens Nature Park in Independence. Nets provided, all ages welcome.
🎤 Forrest Frank - The GRAMMY-nominated artist brings his sold-out tour to T-Mobile Center with special guests Tori Kelly, Cory Asbury, and The Figs at 7pm.

🏃♀️ Brew-Ability 0.08K Beer Run - The world's shortest charity race runs from the back door to the front door of the Brooksider Sports Bar, benefitting The Farmer's House and job training programs for adults with developmental disabilities. The “race” starts at 11am.
🤠 Wyandotte County Fair - The WYCO Fair closes out its final weekend with Walker Montgomery headlining the country concert, plus rodeo action, 4-H livestock shows, carnival rides, and Walker Montgomery headlining the country concert at 8:30pm.
🎬 The Sandlot — Outdoor Movie - JCPRD screens the classic 1993 baseball movie outdoors on a 32-foot big screen at the newly opened Mid-America West Sports Complex at sunset (8:30pm).

🧺 America 250 — A Picnic with Mr. & Mrs. Vaile - Bring a picnic lunch, blanket, and lawn chairs to the historic Vaile Mansion in Independence for live music, a puppet show, and a reading of the Declaration of Independence by the Independence Pioneers.

Boulevard’s Taps & Tastes Returns on October 17th at Current Landing

Boulevard Brewing Co. and the KC Current are teaming up to bring Taps & Tastes to Current Landing on Saturday, October 17th.
Beers Along the River: This new partnership reimagines KC's beloved beer and culinary festival at one of the city's most exciting new venues. The 21+ event features Midwest craft breweries, distilleries, and top-tier chefs, offering an all-inclusive, premium experience with live music, interactive games, and local activations.
Cheers to the Current: Early Admission (1-2pm) gets you first access to rare pours and limited-edition collaborations before General Admission opens at 2pm. At 5pm the festival transitions into a free, all-ages KC Current watch party on the big screen as the Current take on Utah Royals FC at 5:30pm. No ticket required for the watch party.
