Populous

Local sports architecture firm Populous released design renderings of the upcoming College Baseball Hall of Fame in Overland Park.

  • Local Design: The College Baseball Foundation announced in January that the museum would open inside Overland Park’s Museum at Prairiefire (5801 W 135th St). The 8,500-square-foot facility will honor the best collegiate baseball players and coaches, feature interactive digital displays, and house the foundation’s offices.

  • National History: The museum will add to the rich history of baseball in Kansas City, joining the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum. It is expected to have a multi-million dollar impact on the local economy and bring in 150,000 guests during the first year of operation.

The museum is expected to be open late 2025. See the renderings here!
