A New Vision for the West Bottoms

SomeraRoad, the developer behind the $527 million redevelopment of the West Bottoms, recently released a new video outlining the vision of the project and providing more details. If you weren’t already excited about this project, you will be now. Here are some of the plans:

• Avery Hotel: 40-room boutique hotel housing a signature restaurant.

• Moline Apartments: 121-unit apartment complex with ground-floor restaurants and retail.

• The Terminal: Public marketplace with small shops and services.

• Crooks Terminal Building: 80,000 square-foot office space with ground-floor restaurants and retail.

• Perfection Stove Building: 32,000 square-foot office space with ground-floor entertainment.

• The Henning: 290-unit apartment complex with ground-floor commercial space.

• Flowers for a Cause: The annual Flower Sale will have beautiful hanging baskets, geranium tubs, annuals, perennials, and much more. On Saturday, they will also have live music, free samples, and hot apple fritters from our Farm to Fork Kitchen from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. while you shop.

The six participating restaurants will offer a special menu this week highlighting their respective cuisines from around the globe. Here are the participating restaurants:

Power and Light to Host Downtown Brunch Walk

The Power and Light District is celebrating your favorite weekend meal by hosting a Downtown Brunch Walk on Saturday, April 27th.

• Walk ‘n Sip: The event starts at noon (11 am for VIPs) and includes stops at eight participating restaurants around the district. Each stop will feature a small plate and brunch cocktail.

• Level Up: In addition to kicking off early, VIPs will receive a souvenir item, an extra pour in the VIP areas, and dedicated VIP pouring stations at each venue. There will also be bonus stops along with way with an afterparty at Shark Bar!
