Food & Drink
Local Lime to Bring Fresh-Mex to Leawood
Local Lime, an Arkansas-based taco and margarita restaurant, is coming soon to Leawood, with an August or September opening expected.
Fresh-Mex: Local Lime describes itself as a place to "relax, share food, share drink, share time," built around fresh tacos, creative margaritas, and a lively atmosphere. The Leawood location will be the fourth in the country and the first in the KC metro, joining two Arkansas locations and one in Germantown, Tennessee.
What to Eat: The menu features street-style taco plates, sizzling fajitas, birria quesadillas, enchiladas, and shareable starters like queso flameado, ahi ceviche, and grilled ribeye nacho bites. All are made with house salsas and sauces crafted fresh every morning.
Local Lime will be located at 5005 W. 117th St. in the former Bravo! Italian Kitchen space.
