BYODog: Originally established in 2018 at Kansas City's Riverfront Park, Bar K has become a beloved destination bar and dog park, attracting over 500,000 people and 350,000 dogs, and hosting diverse events ranging from breed meetups to live music.
New Owners: Arizona-based Diversified Partners, a commercial real estate brokerage and development company, recently acquired Bar K and plans to open up to 100 more locations across the country.

Throwbacks Only: Despite their distinct styles, Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks' joint tour mesmerizes audiences with their deep and enduring song catalogs, highlighting their impact on the music scene from the '70s through the '80s.
Special Performances: Those attending Saturday night can expect a surprising duet between Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks on "Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around" and tributes, such as Joel's rendition of Tina Turner's "River Deep, Mountain High," add unique layers of excitement to the performance.
Arrowhead Rocks: Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks come to Arrowhead as only the latest in perhaps the stadium’s biggest summer ever. Headliners Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Beyonce have all added Arrowhead to their tour stops this year.

Opening
What-An-Expansion

Whataburger
Backed by football’s #1 player and #1 franchisee, Whataburger will open its newest location near Liberty.
The Location: The new location, which is owned by KMO Burger, a restaurant group featuring Patrick Mahomes, will open on the northeast corner of Missouri 152 and North Booth Avenue near Liberty.
Whatanexpansion: After following Patrick Mahomes from Texas to the KC metro, Whataburger has found such success in KC that they plan to open at least 30 locations.
Postgame Snacks: A unique driver of the restaurant chain’s success is that they remain open 24 hours a day. Meaning the next time you’re headed back from a night game at Arrowhead, you may want to think about picking up a honey butter chicken biscuit.
The new location opened yesterday at 11 am and will only offer service through the drive-thru for the coming weeks, but they plan to open the dining room later this fall.
