J. Rieger & Co. to Host Beads, Beans & Booze Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is Fat Tuesday, and the Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce & Historic Northeast Events is hosting MARDI GRAS: Beads, Beans, & Booze. 

• Cheers to Mardi Gras: The 13th annual event will be held at J. Rieger & Co. (2700 Guinotte Ave.) from 5:30-8:30 tomorrow night. The party will be held inside the Atrium Room and feature Cajun food, live music, and bottles of J. Rieger booze!

• NOLA to KC: Grab your tickets (and beads and masks) to celebrate Mardi Gras KC-style! The menu includes your first drink, Boudin Balls, Crab Cakes, Gumbo, Red Beans & Rice, Succotash, and Bread Pudding.

Royals Hall of Fame Event at the NLBM Set for Tomorrow

After a weather delay, the Kansas City Royals Foundation Hall of Fame event at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum is set for tomorrow, March 4th.

• Baseball Weather: Although Black History Month may be in the rear-view mirror, the Royals Hall of Fame event at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum will celebrate key black players in Royals history from 6-7 pm tomorrow evening.

• Celebrate History: The event is hosted by the Kansas City Royals Foundation nonprofit and will feature artifacts from Royals greats, the chance to hear their stories, and the opportunity to hold the 2015 World Series Trophy!

The event is free to the public. The NLBM is located at 1616 E. 18th Street in the 18th and Vine District.
