WICKED Returns to Kansas City to Cap Off 25/26 Broadway in Kansas City Season

WICKED will return to Kansas City to cap off the 2025/26 Broadway in Kansas City season from August 12-30, 2026.

  • WiKCed: The three-week show will take place at the Music Hall in downtown Kansas City, making its first return since June of 2023. WICKED caps off an impressive season of shows, which also includes The Book of Mormon, The Great Gatsby, Mrs. Doubtfire, Hamilton, and more.

  • Stage to Screen: For those unfamiliar with the story of WICKED, the Broadway sensation “looks at what happened in the Land of Oz...but from a different angle long before Dorothy arrives.” The play was adapted into a 2024 movie starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.

Tickets for the 2025 Big Slick Celebrity Weekend are on sale TODAY!

  • Big Party: Tickets to Kansas City’s biggest annual party go on sale to the public today. The weekend-long event features a VIP event on Thursday, a celebrity softball game at Kauffman Stadium on Friday, and the Big Slick Show on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Center.

  • Hometown Heroes: The Big Slick benefits Children’s Mercy and is hosted by a slew of Kansas City celebrities: Heidi Gardner, David Koechner, Rob Riggle, Paul Rudd, Eric Stonestreet, and Jason Sudeikis. Every year, the show brings a variety of other celebrity guests who present a roaring good time at the variety show on Saturday evening.
