⛲️ Will You Be Mine?

Time Traveler: Created by the Minnesota Children’s Museum, Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice™ allows guests to encounter unfamiliar landscapes and touchable dinosaurs of all shapes and sizes. Dig for fossils, explore a swampy bog and oozing volcano, climb through icy terrain, and more. Based on environments during the end of the Cretaceous period, the exhibit builds on children’s innate curiosity about dinosaurs while promoting scientific thinking and learning.

Dino Time: The FREE exhibit is located at Crown Center Showplace, Level 1, and is open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm; Sunday, Noon to 5pm. It will be closed Easter Sunday, April 5th.

No Coast? No Problem: The beach-themed pop-up opens February 18th and runs through March 1st at the Boulevard Tours & Rec Center. Open Wednesday-Saturday 5-10pm and Sunday 11am-5pm, the pop-up transforms the tasting room into a vintage tiki-inspired bar featuring tropical cocktails, delicious beers, and a build-your-own garnish bar.

Drink Like a Fish: The Beach Club will also celebrate Boulevard's latest Quirk creations: the Quirk Chill Mix Pack featuring frozen flavors like Lemon Italian Ice, Frozen Berry Bar, and Tiger's Blood.

🎤 Post Up at the K: Post Malone and Jelly Roll will perform at Kauffman Stadium on Wednesday, July 15th. Tickets go on sale to the public a week from today, February 10th at 10am.

🏨 Three Lions in Meadowbrook: England’s soccer team has selected the Inn at Meadowbrook in Prairie Village as their home during the 2026 World Cup. The team has blocked out bookings at the 54-room ‘English cottage’-style boutique hotel.

🏀 New Coach: The Kansas City Roos named Mark Turgeon the next head coach of the men’s basketball team. Turgeon is one of the winningest coaches in NCAA history and was raised in Topeka.

😂 Totally Relatable: Social media star and stand-up comedian Trey Kennedy will bring his The Relatable Tour to The Midland Theatre this Saturday at 7pm.

🛒 Shawnee Shopping: The Shawnee City Council approved a plan for a Fresh Market grocery store to open in a vacant strip mall at 75th and Quivira. Fresh Market expects to open this summer.
