Wish You Were Bier

Rose Design + Build
Happy Tuesday, Kansas City! KC Bier Co. is expanding into Lenexa with a massive new location.
Hopping Around: KC Bier Co. has been strategic about how it built its brand. Starting with its brewery and beer garden in Waldo, the brand expanded beyond the metro earlier this year when it struck a deal to enter the St. Louis Market.
Double Decker: Now, the Bier Co. is expanding to the Vista Village development in Lenexa with a 2-story,14,800-square-foot beer garden and restaurant, fashioned in the style of a traditional German bier haus.
Fun For All Ages: According to Steve Holle, founder of KC Bier Co., the new location will be family friendly with a kid’s play area and an area for off-leash dogs.
With the plans still needing final approval, the new location likely won’t be ready until 2025. Until then, you can visit the flagship Waldo location from Tuesday to Sunday.

Sporting Sends St. Louis Packing

Major League Soccer
Sunday night, Sporting Kansas City sent I-70 rival, St. Louis, back home to start the postseason early as the Sporting won 2-1.
8 > 1: Not only did this win give Sporting KC a definitive 3-1 record against their Missouri foes, but also knocked off the #1 seed in the playoffs.
Road Games Only: Sporting will face the winner of Houston Dynamo vs Real Salt Lake in the next round which will be a single elimination game. Sadly because of seeding, Sunday’s game was Sporting’s last home game no matter how the playoffs shake out.
Talk About Momentum: This continues to highlight the remarkable turnaround by Sporting KC. After scoring 3 goals in their first 9 games, the team has rallied themselves into the conference semi-finals.
The next 3 rounds of the playoffs will feature standard playoff-style games where if a game is tied at the end of regulation, the teams will have two 15-minute sessions followed by penalty kicks.

This Is The Greatest Show

Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey
For 6 shows this weekend, the circus is coming to the T-Mobile Center thanks to Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey.
More Than Ever Before: The circus performances will feature “stunning feats of real human achievement, musical performances blended with aerial artistry, modern comedy, and never-before-seen acts on a highwire, trapeze, bicycles, and more”.
No Pets Allowed: This Circus performance will not feature any live animals after concerns over the ethical treatment of acts featuring the elephants caused the tour to shut down in 2017.
Crossing Wires: Acts will include things like the Triangular Highwire, the Criss Cross Flying Trapeze, Extreme Box Jump Trampolines, and more.
The Ringling Bros Greatest Show On Earth will begin this Friday with a show at 7 pm. Shows Saturday will take place at 11 am, 3 pm, and 7 pm. Sunday’s shows will conclude the weekend at 11 and 3. Tickets can still be purchased here.
