New Cocktail Lounge + Burger Concept Coming to the River Market

Varsity Club
A new concept is heading for the River Market. Varsity Club will serve as a neighborhood cocktail lounge, as well as providing a permanent space for popular burger pop-up that has made it’s way around the city.
Retro Vibes: Owners Levi and Caleb Roye, who draw from their experiences at The Monarch Bar, The Campground, and Monarch Coffee, are designing the space with vintage in mind. Taking much inspiration from the 1970’s the space will serve cocktails in a “laid-back environment with a no-fluff approach.”
Would You Like a Burger With That Shake?: The lounge will be shared with Darren Carter and Matt Chapman’s Disco Burger. They have been popping up at restaurants and bars around the city, and have built quite the reputation for their classic smashburgers. Now they will have a home base at 317 Delaware St.
Varsity Club aims to be open sometime in the Spring. Learn more about the upcoming collaboration here.
