Your Guide To Events and Fireworks Shows Tomorrow

National WWI Museum and Memorial
Happy Monday and Fourth of July Eve, Kansas City! Do you still need plans for tomorrow? In today’s shortened newsletter, we’ll get you ready for tomorrow, running you through events and fireworks shows that will be happening in all corners of the metro.
Kansas City, Missouri: KCMO’s official fireworks show, Stars and Stripes Picnic, will take place at the WWI Museum and Memorial. Grounds will open at 3 pm where you can listen to music, enjoy a picnic, or purchase food from the local vendors. The fireworks display will be over the iconic tower starting at 9:40 pm.
Overland Park: Corporate Woods is hosting the Star-Spangled Spectacular, a Fourth Celebration with concerts and food trucks starting at 5 pm and fireworks starting at 10 pm. You can visit the grounds all day and parking is available in the Corporate Woods parking lot.
Parkville: Historic downtown Parkville will host visitors starting at 10 am. Events include family-friendly activities, food, face painting, music, and patriotic skydiving. Fireworks start at 9:30 pm.
Worlds of Fun: Worlds of Fun will be open at its standard 11 am and will finish the day with pyrotechnics, state-of-the-art drone technology, and a stirring musical soundtrack.
Olathe: Celebrate Red, White, and Blue in Olathe with the annual fireworks display at College Boulevard Activity Center (11031 S. Valley Pkwy.). The show begins at dark, approx. 9:45 p.m.
Leawood: Come to Leawood City Park (10601 Lee Blvd) for Celebration in the Park. A full day of swimming, kids’ activities, food trucks, music, and fireworks. Events start at 6 pm and fireworks display around 9:45 pm with shuttle buses to and from City Park at no cost.
Gardner: The Independence Day Festival at Celebration Park (32501 W. 159th St.) will open at 5 pm with games, inflatables, food trucks, country music, and fireworks starting at 10 pm. The city will provide a shuttle service from Gardner-Edgerton High School.
Gladstone: The Independence Day Celebration evening begins at 7 pm with a concert by The Suburbans KC, a presentation of colors by Gladstone VFW, and a magnificent fireworks display at 9:30 pm.
