Your Ice Cream Is Serv’d

KC Daily

Serv, the pickleball and chill complex in Overland Park is welcoming its newest food vendor, Sugar Bomb Ice Cream, just in time for the summer.

  • Servin’ It Up: Serv at 90th and Metcalf was conceived in 2020 by local creative restaurateur Rachel Kennedy-Cuevas who partnered together with great food, a fun atmosphere, and most importantly - pickleball.

  • Sugar Bomb: Sugar Bomb pairs together baked treats from Kate Smith Soiree and ice cream from the Golden Scoop to bring delicious creations like the Pebble’s Breakfast, a sweet milk and cereal flavor sure to remind you of childhood.

  • In the Kitchen: Sugar Bomb is only the latest in food options that Serv has to offer. Other options include a coffee shop, burgers from Slammers, Dink’s pizza and wings, Power Plant’s vegan eats, Tacodile, and Slow Burn BBQ.

Since opening in February, Serv has become the ultimate place for Johnson County residents to enjoy casual afternoons playing pickleball. If you’d like to reserve a court, you can do that here!

  • T-Shotz: T-Shotz is an interactive driving range in North Kansas City at the intersection of 169 Highway and Barry Road. It’s part of a recent development of the Metro North Crossing Campus which aimed to rival Zona Rosa for supremacy of being the shopping and living hub of NKC.

  • NKC Development: Metro North Crossing isn’t stopping with pickleball. The outdoor mall will soon add a 15,000-square-foot retail building to add to its already growing list of businesses featuring Hotworx, Woodstone, and Third Street Social.
