KC’s Wildest Fundraiser Returns to the KC Zoo!

Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium

Jazzoo, the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium's biggest annual fundraiser, returns Friday, June 5th with unlimited food, drinks, and entertainment spread across the Zoo grounds.

  • A Safari Soirée: More than 70 local restaurants and caterers will be set up across the Zoo, alongside live entertainment all evening. Upon entry, guests receive a beverage tray that doubles as a map of all food, drink, and entertainment stations. The dress code is creative black tie with a wild twist. Channel the spirit of the animal kingdom while keeping it elegant and chic!

  • Wild for the Night: The rain-or-shine, 21+ event kicks off at 7:30pm (6:30pm for VIP) and runs until midnight. Tickets are non-refundable, but transferable, and all proceeds support food for the animals and educational opportunities for KC youth.

Q39 Just Dropped 11 New Spring Menu Items

Q39

Q39 is launching 11 new spring menu items starting today, led by Chef Patrick Peluso.

  • New on the Menu: Highlights include Fire Roasted Poblano and Cheddar Cornbread with smoked honey butter, Q39 Loaded Chips, a Wood Fired Canadian Salmon Salad, a Q Dog with house-made chipotle sausage and jalapeño-cilantro slaw, and a 14oz Certified Angus Beef Hand Cut Aged Ribeye. For the first time, smoked turkey has been added as a competition-level option to the Judge's Plate and Combo Plate. Three new desserts also round out the new menu.

  • New at the Bar: Four new cocktails launch alongside two spirit-free options: a Summer Sun Sangria with Chardonnay and limoncello, a Cucumber Collins with Restless Spirits gin, a Blood Orange Mule with J. Rieger vodka, and a Sunset Spritz finished with prosecco. Spirit-free options include a Cucumber Spritz and Blood Orange Fizz.
