An Authentic Mexican Restaurant is Opening on the Plaza

KC Daily

There’s a new restaurant coming (very) soon to the Plaza. T’ÄHÄ opens TOMORROW and will serve authentic Central Mexican cuisine.

  • A Family Affair: T’ÄHÄ comes from chef and owner Fidel Gomez who, along with his family, operates Little Hacienda in Branson, MO. They will feature recipes passed down through generations using traditional Central Mexican techniques.

  • Worth the Hype: We’ve had our eye on T’ÄHÄ for a while now, and our visit to the soft opening earlier this week gave us the chance to sample menu items such as Pollo con Mole, Lamb Barbacoa, Helado de Mole, and specialty cocktails. And it did not disappoint.

T’ÄHÄ is located at 4814 Roanoke Parkway, in the former location of Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar. Check out our visit!

Sports

Kansas City is a GREAT Sports Town!

Michael Edwards Photo

Move over Chiefs! (but don’t move that far 🙏) Kansas City sports teams are on a hot streak right now. Here are some teams seeing success right now:

  • ⚾️ Royals: Not gonna lie, it’s been a tough few years for our Royals. But after a win last night the Royals are 31-19 and boast one of the best records in the American League

  • ⚽️ Current: The ladies on the Current just don’t know how to lose. They are currently (ha) undefeated and in second place in the entire NWSL.

  • 🏒 Mavericks: Coming off the best regular season in franchise history, The Mavericks have a 2-0 series lead in the Western Conference Finals as they hunt for the ECHL Kelly Cup.

  • 🥅 Comets: Although they recently fell in the MASL finals, the Comets had quite the postseason ride to cap off the 2024 campaign.

We’re also excited for the Kansas City Pro Volleyball team and Kansas City Goats to add to the athletic excitement!
