Kansas City’s Top Tourist Destination

Sporting Kansas City
Village West, the Kansas City metro’s top tourist destination, is bringing in over 10 million visitors each year.
At the Heart: Not only is Village West the top tourist destination in the KC metro, it is the top destination in the state of Kansas and one of the most popular destinations in the Midwest. With the announcement last week of the Mattel Adventure Park coming in the next few years, Wyandotte County leaders expect that number to increase.
Something for Everyone: The KCK development is packed with entertainment options. Main attractions include the Legends Outlets, Children’s Mercy Park, Kansas Speedway, Hollywood Casino, and much more.
A complete guide to Village West by Visit KCK can be found here.

Buffalo State Pizza Partners with Kauffman Stadium

Buffalo State Pizza
Great news for hungry Royals fans: Buffalo State Pizza is bringing its pizza to Kauffman Stadium.
A Home Run: Buffalo State Pizza has two locations in the metro (downtown KCMO and Overland Park), and will now have a third home inside Kauffman Stadium. They will be serving 10” personal pizzas at two locations inside the stadium on game days.
Royal Pie: In addition to traditional cheese and pepperoni pies, Buffalo State will serve The Royal Q, a specialty pizza that features roasted smoked chicken, black olives, red onion, mushrooms, and a tangy BBQ sauce.
We LOVE Buffalo State Pizza, enough to feature them on our guide to the Best Pizza in Kansas City.

It’s a Big City: The pickup is broken down into three zones over the next month. See the map here to find out when collectors will be in your area.
Missed pick-up day? Not to worry! The city operates three leaf and brush drop-off site locations.
